Drive By Calculations

Program Explanation

The drive by calculations are useful in determining the top speed of the go kart. The assumption is that the go kart is flying by at a constant speed. The program uses the time it takes to "fly-by" a certain distance to calculate the speed of the go kart.

To Run Program

Enter the Time and the Distance, then press the button.

You can then plug that data into the Performance Program and determine the rpm that the engine was cranking out for the top speed fly by.

Analysis Commentary

This information is useful in diagnosing gear ratio issues, braking issues, and how well the engine is performing.
